Recently, I purchased the Toshiba 19LV506 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with built-in DVD Player for my boat and undoubtedly, I am very glad that I bought this unit. It is a beautiful TV, nicely designed, well constructed and is extremely sharp looking. The white trim is exceedingly attractive and can fit well in any setting or room.The image quality leaves nothing else to be desired with a LCD HDTV. The colors are sharp and brilliant and the built in DVD players without default works quite well and is certainly a pleasure to see. This TV is adequately designed from the user interface standpoint. Besides, the solo remote control of the TV can control the functions of the TV in an integrated and intuitive fashion, thus you need not to switch between the TV controller and DVD. In addition, the menus are simple to distinguish that you can really start operating the TV without going through the manual of the TV, although the TV’s manual is simple to follow and well written.
When it comes to the technical details of this HDTV then too it stands apart from the regular sets being equipped with built-in slot DVD player loading, HDMI input, DivX certified and high-gloss white finish. I tried using the Divx DVD’s and surprisingly they worked really well. Once, I thought that the DVD audio will not be much strong but when I tried it in my room, it was much more than sufficient only at 60 percent maximum volume. The quick scan slow motion multi camera angle selects Dolby Digital as well as DTS compatible bottom mount speakers treble / bass balance controls the MP3 play back in a very efficient manner.
The picture quality is excellent. At present, I am on analog with the substandard cable, still it exhibits nice picture and superb sound quality. It is the all in one solution having a sleek and convenient cabinet. Besides, the built in slot loading DVD player along with easy and simple to access operation button offers a convenient all in one room saving system. This is definitely a stunning LCD HDTV, which I am pleased to possess.
