I had to do a lot of research online before I ordered my Samsung LN52A850 LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color. My efforts paid off and I am really satisfied with my new TV. This is an amazing TV which I have been using for the past one year. This TV is thin, provides very nice picture and has an extraordinary balance of features. The quality of sound and picture is incredible, each and every detail is crisp, vivid and bright and it seems that you are watching a live event taking place in front of your eyes. Even if we see a black and white show on this TV, we realize that they never seemed to be so good. The TV can be customized to deliver 60 hz or 120 hz refresh, while the 60 is good but the 120 takes it to a whole new height. The higher rate of refresh gives an approximately Blue Ray quality. The picture quality is just excellent, no matter from which angle you are watching the TV.
There are many inputs including the four hdmi ports, all of which are accessible through a remote. Apart from all the common features included in a remote, it also has a click wheel which works really well. If you click the click wheel’s center, a menu of various features will come up on the TV. In order to activate or deactivate any of these features, you can just scroll through them and click the one that you want. The TV screen is just 2 inches thick and it is a very light weight TV that can easily be mounted without any professional help. The base is quite stable and I have set the TV on a narrow but sturdy table. Because the weight of the TV is base on its base, it sits nicely and does not tip at all.
